Speaking of Courage
The Northern Consortium is proud to announce “Speaking of Courage,” a booklet that contains the experiences of Black women who have experienced high-risk pregnancies or nurtured children with special needs. Told in their own words, the authors discuss hope, triumph, and dedication to family through challenges. The booklet was launched at a spoken word event, where the authors read their own essays to an appreciative audience.
