With a busy schedule, it may seem difficult to incorporate healthy practices into your daily routine. It's hard to find time between work, school and family but it may be easier than you think. Here are some practical tips that can help you "Live a Healthy Life":

Be physically active. Take the stairs instead of the elevator.
Manage stress. Learn how to say "no". Contrary to what people may think, you are not "Superwoman". You cannot do everything!
Take your medications as prescribed by the doctor.
Speak Up! Don't be afraid to see the doctor and ask questions during your appointment. Remember, that you and your doctor work as a team. If you have questions and/OR concerns, make sure that they addressed. It may also help to write your questions down so that you remember what you want to discuss during the visit.

By practicing these tips, you are taking the initial steps that can have a positive impact before, during and after pregnancy. Talk with your healthcare provider to discuss how you can be healthy.
