BIMRRC presents information on Perinatal Racial Disparities to Hudson Perinatal Consortium’s Community Doula Program
The Black Infant Mortality Reduction Resource Center was proud to conduct an engaging and informative presentation entitled, “Perinatal Racial Disparities in Birth Outcomes” for the Hudson Perinatal Consortium’s Community Doula Program. The presentation provided an overview of racial disparity trends in birth outcomes, theories and concepts impacting Black womens’ reproductive health, and information about the Black Infant Mortality Reduction Resource Center’s initiatives in reducing infant death within the Black community. Participants expressed their appreciation for the information.
