Girl Scouts and Northern Consortium Spread Valentines Day Cheer To Those In Need
The Northern Consortium, as part of our continued program of developing community awareness, recently conducted a presentation for Junior Girl Scout Troop 20346 of Yantacaw School, Nutley, NJ on the importance of supporting their community members who are in need. The message was heard loud and clear. The troop donated hand-made blankets and Valentines Day cards, and also many bags of clothing they collected during a clothing drive. The blankets, cards, and clothes will all go to needy families that participate in our home visitation programs. Kudos to the scouts,their leaders, and parents, as well as everyone who participated in the clothing drive. You are greatly appreciated!
