Northern Consortium and Chilton Hospital Collaborate on Successful Conference

The Northern Consortium, in collaboration with Chilton Hospital, recently offered an informative conference entitled, “Emotional and Psychological Impact of Unexpected Perinatal Outcomes” at the hospital’s Collins Pavilion in Pompton Plains, NJ. The symposium, led by the Northern Consortium’s Postpartum Depression Task Force Chair, Joanne Reich, RN, MA, NE-A, BC, Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at Chilton Hospital and Diana Luciani, RN, MSN, Nurse Manager, was well attended primarily by physicians, nurses and social workers. The day featured insightful and dynamic speakers who spoke about valuable support mechanisms helpful for supporting families and medical staff who experience hardships involving perinatal mood disorders, infertility, having a NICU baby and perinatal loss.
