Northern Consortium delivers message on healthcare disparities and diversity
The Northern Consortium recently provided consulting services to the National Initiative for Children’s Healthcare Quality (NICHQ) to present the impact of healthcare disparities in the pediatric population and the importance of diversity in the clinical population. The NICHQ is an organization composed of pediatricians and public health professionals that aims to improve the systems responsible for the delivery of children’s healthcare. They are committed to both embracing diversity and trying to reduce the disparities that currently exist in the provision of healthcare. Their co-founder, Dr. Charles Homer, is pictured below.
